What is the shelf-life?
Elderflower, Sage, Lavender and Mint have a shelf-life of 2 years from production. Raspberry, Lemon and Strawberry have a shelf-life of 1 year from production.

Do you need to refrigerate the syrup before you consume it?
Our syrups are suitable to keep outside of your fridge as long as you do not open them!

Do you need to refrigerate the syrups after opening it?
Yes! Once you open the bottle you should keep it refrigerated and keep the bottle opening clean. That way you can use syrup for weeks even months.

What do we mean by saying we don’t use concentrates or extracts ?
Concentrates and extracts are heavily processed and refined, they are a shortcut for brands that don’t have the means to pick, macerate, strain and mix the syrups themselves. That means they have more residues and less nutritional benefits. We use a one step process where we create our syrups from plants we have handpicked or harvested, or from fruit we have hand squeezed or strained by gently macerating (cold maceration) or strain the fruit and mix them into

Do you use added chemical preservatives, artificial colours or juice concentrates?
No, we don’t.

What do you do to preserve your products?
Our syrups are pasteurized. This is a traditional way of preserving plant products and that means we heat the syrup to 84 C and fill them while they are hot.

Why do I sometimes see sediments or layers in the syrup bottle ?
Our syrups are made of fruit juice and pulp or flowers and leaves of plants. These have pollen, protein and other natural components that go into the syrup. Since we do not use additives to stabilize or clear the syrups you can sometimes see the sediments of pollen, plant resign and other natural components. It is best to shake the bottle to get all of its components mixed again.

Is Agropošta syrup vegan and gluten free?
Yes it is. We do not use any dairy or animal products and all components that get into our manufacture are gluten free.

If your package was damaged in transit, send us an email at lavendel@agroposta.com with your order number and the details of the damages, and we’ll do our best to replace your order asap.
